Journey Jotters

Springtime brings with it a renewed sense of vitality and joy! A time to break free of the gloom of winter, to watch with expectant eyes the rebirth of the world around us. A stirring to life of one’s heart and soul! That moment of Ahh! when one can shed heavy winter coats and shoes and a few extra pounds!

As is custom, I had hoped to make a trip or two to see the bluebonnets but work and activities kept me close to home. This year, though, the bluebonnets came to me! On a chance trip to Allen recently, I came across a whole meadow of them!! An island of purple and blue in the midst of busy streets. Like a child in a candy store, I took joy in spending an hour or two amongst these lovelies.
